My first step to help BEAT THE STIGMA is owning my own story and my own experiences. I know many people like me have set themselves on this amazing journey to create awareness on mental health issues. That speaks loud of how loving and whole-hearted the feelings of a bipolar patient are.

We all have a story worth telling. I have realized that as I document the steps back and forth that I took to understand my diagnose and be where I am today. My book “I AM TRIPOLAR” has certainly changed me in many ways, and I hope it can change you too, for the good. Why do I say this? Well… because if you have come this far, I can attest you care. You care for yourself and you care for others.

BEING TRIPOLAR FOR ME, was a reassurance that who I was really mattered. That I was way more than my diagnosis and what had happened to me, And that my journey has been successful. Yes, I am a successful case of bipolar. Like many others who can share their experiences with you today, through many platforms and social media. I feel blessed for being here. I am not the only  mental health advocate , I am actually part of a huge group of patients who have been able to grow from the inside out, sharing stories and their own journey.

I keep fighting every day to keep myself well. I look at myself and others with compassion and this “me, me, me” is only the result of looking at my inner self, my inner chid and my inner person with charity and compassion. Valuing who I am, who I have become and who I will be in the future.

Join me in this new journey to CHANGE THE CONVERSATION, where reflections on my own journey can enlighten the way for me and for others. If you are a parent, child, sibling, colleague or friend with someone bipolar, or you are bipolar yourself, I hope we can become friends.

Join me as we OPEN creative ways to start those difficult conversations and work together as we do all in our POWER to BEAT THE STIGMA!
